Mother....
You filled my days with rainbow lights,
Fairytales and sweet dream nights,
A kiss to wipe away my tears,
Gingerbread to ease my fears.
You gave the gift of life to me
And then in love, you set me free.
I thank you for your tender care,
For deep warm hugs and being there.
I hope that when you think of me
A part of you
You'll always see....

Your mom never ages, does she? Where was this pic taken?? Are they on a mission or something? I love the poem--I should start doing birthday tributes on my blog, too, to make up for the fact that I never remember to send cards and am too broke for gifts! :)
I know...she still looks so young. I hope I got those genes. and yes...she and Marlowe were on a mission for the Pageant in New York. They had a great time.
