We got word today of another casualty - Major Paul Carron... He served with John in the Headquarters Troop, RHHT - 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment.
I don't know his family, but my heart is breaking for them. I can't imagine what they must be feeling and the devastation that they must be experiencing.

I say another prayer every time I read or hear about casualties over there. For you and John and the families of those soldiers. We love you Anna and John. Hang in there.
Some of my letters to delployment wouldn't be appropriate for a family blog. Especially when I think of what the Carron family is going through. Thank you to our hard-working military, especially John. And, thank you to the Annas who work hard from home and keep everything going.
